Fenced dog park
Gordon Barnard Reserve has a dedicated fenced off-lead dog area.
It is open every day during daylight hours except for Thursday from 7 am to 8:30 am for maintenance.
It is located between the east oval and the Boroondara Sports Complex.

There is a car park off Carrington Street and Belmore Road past the Boroondara Sports Complex.
There is also a small car park near the off-lead dog area accessed from Belmore Road on the east side of the Boroondara Sports Complex.
A third car park can be accessed off Balwyn Road.
The reserve is 1.8 km from the number 48 tram stop.

* Council recently endorsed the ‘Organised Sport Seasonal Allocation Policy’. The Policy allows for night matches to take place at a number of pre-approved sportsgrounds across the municipality during the winter season (1 April to 30 September), with all matches needing to be completed by 9:30 pm (9 pm on Sundays). This sportsground has been pre-approved for night matches and may have some night matches throughout the season.
