Sports schedule

Greythorn Park hosts cricket and AFL across the summer and winter seasons. When training or matches are taking place, the oval must be cleared to ensure the safety of all players and visitors.

During the winter season from 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025, the sportsgrounds are used for AFL, athletics, personal training and school sport. The 2025 winter season schedule for Greythorn Park:

* Council recently endorsed the ‘Organised Sport Seasonal Allocation Policy’. The Policy allows for night matches to take place at a number of pre-approved sportsgrounds across the municipality during the winter season (1 April to 30 September), with all matches needing to be completed by 9:30 pm (9:00 pm on Sundays). This sportsground has been pre-approved for night matches and may have some night matches throughout the season.
