Off-lead dog park
Lynden Park is a designated off-lead dog park, except when there are organised sports training sessions and matches on the ovals. Read the park rules on our Off-lead dog park page.

There are car parks off Stornoway Road and Lynden Street. The park is 1.2 km from Hartwell train station.
Sports schedule
The East and West ovals at Lynden Park host numerous sports across the summer and winter seasons. When training or matches are taking place, the ovals must be cleared to ensure the safety of all players, pets and visitors.
The winter season runs from 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025. The 2025 winter season schedule for Lynden Park:

* Council recently endorsed the ‘Organised Sport Seasonal Allocation Policy’. The Policy allows for night matches to take place at a number of pre-approved sportsgrounds across the municipality during the winter season (1 April to 30 September), with all matches needing to be completed by 9:30 pm (9 pm on Sundays). This sportsground has been pre-approved for night matches and may have some night matches throughout the season.
