Beamafilm and Kanopy are separate to Boroondara Library Service. You can find films and watch them on their app or website – not on our website. You can't search our catalogue to find films on Beamafilm or Kanopy. 

With a library membership you can open a free account with Beamafilm and Kanopy. Read on to learn how to do this.

Open a free Beamafilm account

On a mobile phone or tablet

1. Download the Beamafilm app for Android at Google Play store or for iOS at the App Store.
2. Select 'library card access'.
3. Search for 'Boroondara Library Service' and enter your library membership number.
4. Fill out the form and create a password.
5. Log in with your new Beamafilm account details to watch film or TV series.

On a computer

1. Go to the Beamafilm website. 
2. Enter your library membership number.
3. Fill out the form and create a password.
4. Log in with your new Beamafilm account details to watch film or TV series. 

Open a free Kanopy account

On a mobile phone or tablet

1. Download the Kanopy app for Android at Google Play store or for iOS at the App Store.
2. Tap 'get started'.
3. Select 'find library'.
4. Search for 'Boroondara Library Service'.
5. Enter your library membership number and PIN.
6. Fill out the form and create a password.
7. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your email account. 

On a computer

1. Go to the Kanopy website.
2. Select 'add library card'.
3. Enter your library membership number and PIN.
4. Fill out the form and create a password.
5. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your email account.
