Kanopy’s credit system
Library members will receive 15 'tickets' per calendar month to use in Kanopy. Every film clearly displays its ticket value and viewing period next to the play button.
Ticketing allocation and viewing period breakdown:
- Kanopy Kids – 0 tickets
- Short films (under 30 min) – 1 ticket (2 day viewing period)
- Regular films – 2 tickets (2 day viewing period)
Bingeable episodic content (including The Great Courses) will be based on total running time:
- 2 hours or less – 2 tickets (3 day viewing period)
- 2 to 4 hours – 3 tickets (3 day viewing period)
- 4 to 6 hours – 4 tickets (7 day viewing period)
- 6 or more hours – 5 tickets (14 to 21 day viewing period).

Beamafilm and Kanopy are separate to Boroondara Library Service. You won't find Beamafilm or Kanopy films listed in the library search catalogue. You can search for and watch films on their app or website – not on our website.
