We regularly update our planning scheme with changes requested by a resident or a business in the City of Boroondara. The Minister of Planning can also change the Boroondara Planning Scheme.
Past amendments to the Boroondara Planning Scheme include zoning changes, introduction of overlays, such as a heritage overlays, and setting building height and setback limits.
Changes to existing policy or introducing new policy requires a statutory process, known as a planning scheme amendment.
