About Canterbury Gardens Kindergarten
A kindergarten where experienced, passionate teachers and co-educators strive to provide a magical year for each child. The stimulating play-based program is open-ended, flexible and responsive to the children’s interests and individual levels of development.
The program includes music time, special days (for example, grandparent/s day), gardening, an end of year concert and many more exciting experiences.

3-year-old kindergarten program
Caterpillars – 22 places
This program offers 15 hours of free kinder per week and 2 hours and 15 minutes of additional optional hours.

Butterflies – 22 places
This program offers 15 hours of free kinder per week and 4 hours and 30 minutes (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) or 11 hours of additional optional hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

3-year-old kindergarten program
- Caterpillars (15 hours per week): free
- Additional hours (2 hours and 15 minutes per week): $350
4-year-old kindergarten program
- Butterflies (15 hours per week): free
- Additional hours (4 hours 30 minutes per week): $675
- Additional hours (11 hours per week): $1650
2025 deposits
- Enrolment deposit: $300. This is refundable on commencement.
Voluntary costs
- 3-year-old: $250 per term
- 4-year-old: $250 per term

Early childhood education and care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standard (NQS) to:

- improve knowledge and access to information about the quality of services to help families make informed decisions about their child’s education and care.
