The Municipal Wide Heritage Gap Study (MWHGS) was a proactive work program to identify and protect valued heritage properties. 

Commenced in 2016, the MWHGS assessed the following suburbs:

  • Kew East and Mont Albert - Amendment C306boro - gazetted 12 March 2021
  • Hawthorn East - Amendment C308boro - gazetted 5 November 2021
  • Ashburton - Amendment C337boro - gazetted 30 June 2022
  • Glen Iris - Amendment C333boro Part 2 - gazetted 12 September 2022
