Capital works funds

Good financial management allows us to set funds aside to pay for and deliver the capital works programs for the following year. This deliberate financial planning benefits the community by investing in maintaining our building assets for future decades. It has put us in a good position for the future without reducing services to the community or compromising the standard of maintenance on community assets.

Although we may show a ‘surplus’ at the end of a financial year, these funds make sure that Council is able to renew appropriate levels of community infrastructure.

Delivering what’s important to you

The Boroondara Community Plan 2021–2031 is our key strategic document. It guides everything we do, to make sure we deliver what you told us you value most.

You can find out more on our Boroondara Community Plan 2021–2031 page.
