We know that our community values public toilets that are well maintained and accessible.
That’s why we’re developing a new public toilet strategy that gets to the bottom of how we improve the quality and quantity of public toilets in Boroondara.
This strategy will focus on Council-owned public toilets that are:
- freestanding in places like parks, reserves and some local shopping strips
- externally accessible to the public outside normal business hours, like those on the outside of some sports pavilions.
To help shape the draft strategy, we’re asking our community to flush out their feedback before consultation closes on Monday 5 February. Have your say by completing our short survey online.
We expect to share the draft strategy for our community to comment on in 2024.
