Our commitment to diversity, inclusion and gender equality
We are committed to providing a safe culture where employees from diverse backgrounds can bring their whole selves to work.
Gender Equality Action Plan
Our Gender Equality Action Plan outlines our commitment to progressing workplace gender equality. Our four-year plan has been designed to ensure the right actions are in place to achieve intersectional gender equality in our workplace.
Our plan identifies the resources, processes and structures we will enact to continue to build a safe culture where employees from diverse backgrounds can bring their whole selves to work.
Every 4 years, we are required to submit a Gender Equality Action Plan to the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector, in line with our obligations under the Gender Equality Act 2020.

Progress reporting
Every 2 years we provide a report to the Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector on the progress made against the actions outlined in our Gender Equality Action Plan and broader obligations under the Gender Equality Act 2020.
The Commission marked our 2021-23 progress report as ‘compliant’. This assessment confirms we have made meaningful progress towards achieving workplace gender equality in this period.
