The Australia Honours List recognises the outstanding service and contributions of Australians. Recipients come from right across the country and from all walks of life – including Boroondara.
The Honours and Awards system gives the nation a chance to celebrate and acknowledge those who work tirelessly to improve their local communities and make Australia a better place.
The 2025 Australia Day Honours list recognises and celebrates 732 Australians, including awards in the Order of Australia, meritorious awards and recognition for distinguished service.
