The theme for this year’s Boroondara Photography Competition is ‘‘Hidden Boroondara'.

Budding photographers of all ages and abilities can submit their photos from 9 am Monday 17 February until 11:59 pm  Sunday 4 May 2025. Our winners will be announced at the awards night in late June 2025.

We’re looking for photos that showcase the lesser known or hidden aspects of Boroondara. It could be local landmarks, people, community events or natural spaces. We encourage you to capture the unique and overlooked features of Boroondara.

Photos submitted for the competition must be taken in Boroondara. Dig up some old pictures from the past or take new shots that reveal your perspective of Boroondara today. Photographs entered in the Historical category can be entered by family members or direct ancestors of the photographer.

Enter for the chance to win great prizes and have your photo showcased in a public photography exhibition at the Town Hall Gallery.
