Boroondara Hottest 100 adult fiction 2023

It is that time of year again Boroondara! Here are the Hottest 100 adult fiction titles from our collection in 2023.  

Jane Harper is once again your favourite author coming in at number one for the third time. Jane has had books featured in this list 12 times and all-time loans on Jane Harper’s books and their adaptations now exceed 14,000! The exact number being 10,398 loans on physical items and 3837 digital loans at the time of writing. We are delighted that a female Australian author is so popular with our borrowers.  

Taylor Jenkins Reid is your most read author with four titles, all published within the past 5 years. Lessons in chemistry by debut author Bonnie Garmus has also been a huge success.

Crime and mystery series have been very popular this year. New star, Richard Osman has 3 titles in the top 20, with favourites Ann Cleeves, Chris Hammer, Fiona McIntosh, Garry Disher and Dervla McTiernan also keeping you on the edge of your seats.
