A heatwave warning has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology until Saturday 23 November. Visit the Bureau of Meteorology website for more information.

To make door-to-door charitable collections, you need to apply for a Door-to-door Collection Permit.

Council allows four appeals each year:

  • Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal
  • Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal
  • Australian Red Shield Appeal
  • Epilepsy Foundation.

Each door-knock appeal is held only once a year.

Other charitable organisations can apply for a Door-to-door Collection Permit, however, it's important to note that Council only allows 1 door-knock appeal each month.

How to apply

You need to submit your application at least 10 days before you want to start your collection.
