Children’s Week (Saturday 21 to Sunday 29 October) is a national celebration that advocates for the rights of children and recognises their ability to actively contribute to the world around them.
This year’s focus is on children’s right to relax, play and take part in activities they enjoy. So we’re celebrating Children’s Week 2023 in Boroondara with 2 special Play Day sessions at Kew Traffic School:
Date: Wednesday 25 October
Time: 9 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 3 pm
Join the fun riding bikes and scooters around the realistic roads and paths, complete with roundabouts, traffic lights and railway crossings. You can get crafty, make yourself a fruit kebab, and take part in a special storytime session. We’ll set up a quiet sensory corner too. This Children’s Week activity is presented by the City of Boroondara in partnership with the Victorian Government.
