Work is underway to prepare the Michael Tuck Stand building for the refurbishment to start in 2026.
We’ve completed important structural works inside the heritage-listed building such as installing beams, propping the internal concrete columns and laying the slab for the spaces on the first level. We’re currently working through the details for some additional work to the roof and will share an update shortly.
The old timber grandstand seats have been carefully removed and placed in storage. We’re looking at how we can reuse them, given they're an important part of the Michael Tuck Stand and Glenferrie Oval’s history. The architect is currently developing the designs for the new internal spaces, which we expect to share later this year.
