To celebrate Women’s Health Week, we’re inviting women across Boroondara to join us at free events that inspire healthy habits for both body and mind.
Women’s Health Week, 2 to 6 September, is a nationwide campaign led by Jean Hailes. It is Australia’s largest event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all women, girls and gender-diverse people.
Get active, try a new activity and learn some tips to help prioritise your health and wellbeing.
Women of all ages are invited to join these free activities:
- Tai Chi in the park – Monday 2 September, 11 am at Victoria Park in Kew
- Pilates in the park – Wednesday 4 September, 2 pm at Markham Reserve in Ashburton
- Understanding our body’s stress response (a Boroondara Wellbeing conversation) – Thursday 5 September, 7 pm at Hawthorn Library
- Women’s strength training workshop – Friday 6 September, 11:30 am at Balwyn Library.
