The Victorian Government is making major changes to planning in Victoria to deliver its target of 800,000 new homes in 10 years. Many of these changes will affect people living in Boroondara.
We’re holding a forum to keep our community informed about what the changes mean for them. We also want to make sure residents know how to stay informed as the government makes new announcements and finalises existing details and plans.
We know we need new housing. But it needs to be in the right locations – which should be based on well-thought-out plans following research and analysis, and should consider the community’s views.
At the forum you’ll hear about the proposed changes and how they may affect existing residential and heritage areas. Details of the forum are as follows:
