Are you keen to learn some new sporting skills this summer? Why not try hitting the target with archery, perfecting your tennis technique or mastering some mallet moves at croquet.

Summer season is kicking off and these are just a handful of the sports you can get involved with here in Boroondara. Now’s the time to reach out to your local sports club to find out more.

Help with club fees

If the cost of club fees is stopping you from joining up, we might be able to help. Our individual participation grants help disadvantaged community members join a club. Eligible community members can apply via a quick online form for up to 75% off annual sports club fees (capped at $200), subject to availability. The grant is paid to the club, which then reduces your fees. Check eligibility criteria and find out more at our grants page

Help with fees to compete at a high level

Individual achievement grants support high achievers chosen to compete, perform or represent their sport, recreation, arts or cultural field. The grants provide help with expenses (up to $300). Find out more at our grants page
