The Warm Winter Read returns! This season as the temperature drops, we want you to make time for yourself and your chosen story every day. While reading is its own reward, you’ll also go in the running to win some bookish prizes!
Start a book from your 'to read' pile, finish that book you put down months ago or find something new while browsing the library shelves.

You can find many titles recommended by our library staff in our Library Catalogue homepage or drop into your local library and ask staff to help you find your next favourite read.
To participate
The Warm Winter Read runs between 1 June and 31 August 2024.
In the days leading up to the launch, you can register and create a profile at the new Public Libraries Victoria Read Book website to track your reading. Or drop into a branch from 1 June and collect your Reading Journal to register.
