Event details
Know a teen aged 14 to 18 years who loves video games? In this hands-on workshop, they'll learn how to design their very own. Teens get to explore the role of a Video Game Designer.
In this session, we’ll:
- break down the design process
- dive into different game genres and systems
- explain storyboarding
- introduce students to Unity through the Unity Essentials pathways.
By the end of the workshop, they’ll have the tools to begin crafting their own indie games — no prior coding knowledge required.
About the National Communication Museum
The National Communication Museum (NCM) is a new museum in Hawthorn, housed in a historic 1930s exchange building on Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung land. We’re located next to Swinburne University in a growing STEAM precinct.
NCM invites visitors to explore the technologies shaping our future. We offer a place to address technological change through conversation and experimentation.
