11/25/2024 2:00 pm 11/25/2024 3:00 pm Krefft's glider hollow checks We invite you to come along and join in a morning of hollow checks for our resident Krefft's gliders.We will be on hand to help you spot, learn about and record your sightings, as we focus on the amazing gliders that call Boroondara home.Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground, bring a water bottle and be prepared for the weather.This is part of an ongoing monthly monitoring project and we would love your help with this data collection.Please note: there will be no handling of wildlife during the hollow checks, and participants will be required to remain on the paths as requested by Council staff. Staff will access the hollows with cameras, and participants will assist with viewing hollows from camera screens and data collection from a small distance on paths. No participants will be required/approved to enter bushland under any circumstances.Getting to the eventThe closest public parking to the event is at Willsmere Park Pavilion, near the intersection of Willow Grove and Wattle Road in Kew East.
