06/07/2025 7:30 pm 06/07/2025 10:00 pm Jailhouse Concert Series 2025 featuring Come Heavy Sleep The inaugural Jailhouse Concert will feature the talented duo, Come Heavy Sleep, as Rosie Luby and Kier Stevens join forces to deliver a captivating folk noir performance. Rosie will play the cello while Kier will play the dobro (resonator guitar). Both artists are extraordinary vocalists with Kier's voice offering earthly powerful notes. This is perfectly counterbalanced by Rosie's angelic, timeless and haunting voice. Rosie will sing an ancient Icelandic folk song as part of Come Heavy Sleep's performance. You won't want to miss this one!The Kew Court House offers an intimate performance space. The history of this old jailhouse and lock-up seeps from the walls. Once at risk of being demolished, the complex was saved by generous benefactors and lovingly restored into a dedicated live performance space in the ornate former Magistrates' Court.
