Sonorous (NZ) will cross the ditch in August and hit the Kew Court House stage to play 2 powerhouse sets at the second concert of the Jailhouse Concert Series 2025. This incredible band is made up of 3 young musicians who have just turned 18. But don't let their tender age fool you, because they are taking NZ and Australia by storm.
Doors open at 7:30 pm.
- Set 1: 8 to 8:45 pm
- Set 2: 9:15 to 10 pm.
About Sonorous
Hailing from Taupo, New Zealand, Sonorous are renowned for their high-energy performances and raw blues rock sound. This dynamic show band has rapidly made a name for themselves, captivating audiences with their high-octane live shows.
Their sound is defined by passionate vocals, exceptional guitar artistry and outstanding drumming, which will astound you for a band so young. Sonorous is not wasting any time, having already made their mark at major festivals including New Zealand's prestigious Summer Concert and Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues Festival, who have invited them back to play again in 2025.
Sonorous have shared a stage with legendary acts such as Simple Minds, Collective Soul, Texas, Psuedo Echo and NZ blues legend, Grant Haua. They attracted a standing ovation at the 2024 Matsumura Blues Festival in Mildura.
