Led by Angus Hamilton from Life Gone Wild, kids will learn about the amazing animals that call the Billabong home including frogs, fish, birds and bugs!
Kids will have an opportunity to become citizen scientists by photographing and recording their animal sightings in support of the Greater Melbourne Great Southern Bioblitz for Boroondara.
Children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
When registering, place one order per group of children. Accompanying adults do not require a ticket.
iNaturalist app
We encourage you to download the free iNaturalist app prior to the event so that you can record your sightings and contribute data to this global citizen science challenge, but this is not essential. You can watch a recording of an iNaturalist app training session to learn more about using the app.
What to wear
Please wear appropriate shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground Billabong and come prepared for cold and wet weather!
