We run over 70 full year courses – languages, exercise & walking groups, literature & film groups, music courses, art classes, extending your thinking sessions, history groups and travel presentations. These are all led by member tutors. Plus more than 80 short courses each term presented by local, interstate, and international lecturers.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for seniors to learn, teach, share and to give mutual support to each other in a friendly and warm environment, regardless of ethnicity, religion, ability or disability. Our courses cover a wide range of interest areas, from academic to physical and artistic activities. Our members enjoy both the intellectual engagement and the social aspect of our courses.

Roles include office and administration work, tutoring, community support roles in aged care, child care, disability services, youth work, retail, gardening and environmental work. If you have professional skills you would like to offer, sign up to the Boroondara Volunteer Skills Bank and be matched to skilled volunteer projects and roles.

Walking Football is a modified version of the game suitable for all levels of ability and fitness. It is designed for people who are returning to sport after a break or those who have never played before. The program aims to provide participants with physical and mental health benefits, social contentedness, and promote the benefits of ongoing physical activity. Every Monday, 10am at Boroondara Sports Complex.
