Fordham Gardens – park area

Camberwell

Fordham Gardens is suitable for celebrations, social gatherings and small community events.

The gardens feature beautifully curated lawn areas and shady gum trees, while the pond is an ideal spot for that perfect photo.

There is a barbecue area with seating and a playground suitable for younger children.

You can book a grass area in the park for your exclusive use.

We require between 5 full business days and 8 weeks' notice, depending on your booking.

You can apply to bring:

  • up to 10 chairs and 2 tables for events
  • a marquee or arbour covering up to 30 square metres.

Public facilities are free for all park visitors to use. They are not included as part of a booking.

There are no public toilets at Fordham Gardens.

Playground

The playground is ideal for younger children and includes a:

  • swing
  • spiral slide
  • small climbing feature.

Parking and transport

There is street parking on Tyrone Street and Love Street. The gardens are just 300 m from Hartwell train station.

Booking times

7 days including public holidays.

April to October: 8 am to 6 pm.

November to March: 8 am to 8:30 pm.

Accessibility

A wheelchair-accessible barbecue is located at the gardens.
