Libraries
Council invoices can be paid by
cheque, without queuing, by using the drop boxes conveniently found
in all Boroondara libraries. A cashiering service operates at
the Kew library, where you can make enquiries about Council
services and pay Council rates.

Household waste, general waste (such as disused household appliances) and green waste can be disposed of at the Boroondara Transfer Station (charges apply). General recyclables that are normally collected by Council's kerbside collection service can be dropped off free of charge. Charges may apply for other items.

1pm-4pm Monday to Friday, for all types of waste
8am-4pm Saturday, for all types of waste
8am-4pm Sunday, for green waste and recycling drop-off centre only
Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Only accepts paper, cardboard, plastics (code 1 to 7), glass bottles and jars, aluminium and steel cans. No general waste or green waste will be accepted.

Closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
