Fairview Park is suitable for celebrations and small social gatherings like picnics.
Tucked away alongside the Yarra River, the park features a lovely oak-lined boulevard and large open spaces.
Children will love the playground, which includes a vintage flying fox and a tyre swing.
You can book a grass area in the park for your exclusive use.
We require between 5 full business days and 8 weeks' notice, depending on your booking.
You can apply to bring
- up to 40 chairs and 3 tables for events
- a marquee, or arbour covering up to 40 square metres.

Public facilities are free for all park visitors to use. They are not included as part of a booking.
There are no public toilets at Fairview Park.

There is parking at nearby Wallen Reserve and limited parking on Fairview Street. The gardens are 1.5 km from Hawthorn train station.

April to October: 8 am to 6 pm.
November to March: 8 am to 8:30 pm.
