Event details
Join Woody for a laugh-out-loud adventure as wild as a Year 3 campfire singalong!
Packed with silly songs, hilarious storytelling, ukulele strumming for everyone, and surprise visits from quirky characters (even flying Emus), this show is a delightful mix of chaos and charm. It's like a school assembly—if the principal had a ukulele and zero rules.
Perfect for kids and their grown-ups, Woody’s Giggle and Strum Show is a kaleidoscope of old-school fun where imagination runs wild and everyone gets to join the action. Don’t miss this joyful, musical escapade these school holidays—because who doesn’t need a bit of chaos that you don’t have to clean up afterward?
Seating is general admission.
Presented in collaboration with Boroondara Arts.
Performance times:
- Tuesday 15 April, 11 am and 2 pm
- Wednesday 16 April, 11 am and 2 pm
- Thursday 17 April, 11 am and 2 pm
About Woody
Woody is a Victorian-based children’s music specialist, entertainer, and teacher with over 23 years of experience surviving music concerts and school camps. Over the years, he’s taught more than 10,000 kids to play the ukulele, performed at some of Australia’s biggest family festivals, toured to remote Aboriginal communities, and even started a family band with his three kids (and somehow stayed sane—mostly). He’s written songs for ABC Kids and is collaborating on a revamp of the ABC Education Sing! songbooks in 2025, all while planning tours to Canada and the UK.
