Scouts Victoria school holiday program is a fun outdoor educational program run by a team of enthusiastic Scout leaders.
It focuses on developing adventurous activity skills, conservation and environmental responsibility, survival and STEM skills.
We provide full-day programs that are fun, inclusive, adventurous and challenging. During our Scout programs young people are encouraged to grow in their independence, leadership, community spirit and to develop new friendships.
Lunch and snacks are provided to ease the burden on those busy mornings.
Activities include:
- Pioneering
- Hatchet throwing
- Stick archery
- Street orienteering
- Frisbee golf
- Campfire cooking
- Survival skills: shelter building, first aid and mock emergencies, finding water and fire lighting
- Bushwalking: map and navigation skills, urban hike
- Ratburger live stage show excursion
- Performing arts.
Activities run from 9am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and from 8am to 4pm on Thursday.
