National Tree Day at Clifford Close

You are invited to help celebrate National Tree Day by joining Friends of Ashburton Forest for a planting day event. Volunteers have prepared this site for planting and Council will be supplying 940 trees and shrubs. All you need to do is turn up ready to plant.

Morning tea will be provided to enjoy after the planting session. Please bring along a mug or Keep Cup.

Please bring gloves and a trowel (if you have these), a kneeling mat (if needed) and wear appropriate footwear.

When: Sunday 21 July from 10 am to 12 pm
Where: Please meet at the entrance to the parklands from Clifford Close.

The closest public parking to the event is along Clifford Close, Ashburton.
