In this workshop we will be reviving the delightful and connecting tradition of penpals!
Participants are invited to think carefully about a special person and make a postcard or small letter package to surprise them with via the mail. An array of colourful papercraft materials will be provided to inspire the imagination and warm the heart of those on the receiving end.
Everyone will receive a couple of stamps so that they can visit a post box after the workshop ensuring their caring creations reach their intended destination. This activity involves cutting, pasting and handwriting.
Most suitable for ages 5 to 12 years.
Please note the participant’s parent or carer is required to remain at Hawthorn Arts Centre while the workshop is in progress.
