An original composition by Donald Furlano, La Grande Guerra will feature captivating narration from the perspective of those who lived it. Woven into the narration, will be 16 hauntingly beautiful songs, commemorating Italian National Unity and Armed Forces Day on 4 November. We will bring to life the raw and powerful experiences of soldiers who fought in the Great War for Italy.
Conducted by the exceptional talents of Giuliano Di Ienno, who will bring together the extraordinary voices of the Veneto Club Choir and the highly renowned Boroondara Symphonic Band, the event promises to be a profoundly memorable and moving experience.
The event, delivered in Italian song and narration, will have accompanying transcripts in English projected onto screens throughout.
