Annwen Roberts is an improvising violinist drawing influence from the jazz tradition, as well as her roots in Tasmanian folk.
The quartet plays hers and her ensemble members’ compositions as well as jazz standards, with a high energy, interactive approach to improvised music.
Her debut album SKY OMENS is about searching for comfort in the skyline as she moves around Australia through hardship and trauma, and was supported by a UniMelb IgniteLab Grant.
