About the exhibition
‘The Long Way: Kevin Chin’ is a major exhibition at Town Hall Gallery taking viewers on a journey into borderless new territories. A new series of ethereal paintings is contextualised by a curated selection of highlights from Chin’s 15-year artistic practice.
Piecing together cues from across continents, the artist challenges traditional conventions of composition to create dreamscapes that are simultaneously familiar and foreign.
Offering moments of warmth, solace and retreat, ‘The Long Way: Kevin Chin’ encourages us to imagine more boundless ways of wandering the world.
