The Deans of Soul combine soul, funk and old school R&B influences to create a modern Melbourne soul sound, with velvet smooth vocals, sweet harmonies, soaring heartbreak guitar, deep Motown bass grooves and hip-shaking rhythms.
They released 3 singles and videos in 2022 and 2023, ‘A Common Theme,’ ‘I Don’t Want To Lose You’ and ‘Come To Me Lover.’ The Deans of Soul are like a United Nations of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians unified in the one Soul groove. If you missed their sold out performance for Boroondara Arts in 2023, this is your chance to witness the full big band sound and get down with the Deans.
