09/12/2024 7:00 pm 09/12/2024 10:00 pm Aria Competition Final Opera Scholars Australia (OSA) is thrilled to present its highly anticipated Aria Competition Final, showcasing the talents of emerging opera singers.After a rigorous selection process, six exceptional finalists will be chosen to compete. These talented singers will have the opportunity to perform a short program of their choosing before esteemed adjudicator (opera legend and agent) Patrick Togher and a live audience, all vying for the chance to win the prestigious title.The singing competition has launched the careers of many young artists. Joan Sutherland won one of Australia's most important competitions, The Sun Aria, in 1949. Pavarotti won first prize at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen in 1955. The OSA Aria Competition takes its place in this important tradition. Opera Scholars Australia (OSA) is thrilled to present its highly anticipated Aria Competition Final, showcasing the talents of emerging opera singers.

After a rigorous selection process, six exceptional finalists will be chosen to compete. These talented singers will have the opportunity to perform a short program of their choosing before esteemed adjudicator (opera legend and agent) Patrick Togher and a live audience, all vying for the chance to win the prestigious title.
