Meet other Chinese people (mostly Cantonese speaking) to socialise and discuss issues important to the community. We run a range of activities, including stretching exercise, Tai Chi (various forms) table tennis and talks on topics of interest by guest speakers. Runs on Mondays from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Cost: $15 annual membership.

Regular concerts, which are popular with older Kew residents. Our band features brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. We play swing, classical, pop, film and traditional band music (e.g. marches). Runs on Fridays during the school term from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Cost: free.

Our Evergreen Ramblers Program takes you on a tour around Melbourne's outer metropolitan area every Tuesday from 10 am to 3 pm. Discover or revisit lovely suburbs and townships, stopping to enjoy lunch together at a selection of restaurants, hotels or taverns that we've hand-picked for you. Transport is arranged in our iconic minibus, with pick up and drop off at your doorstep, so you need to do is get comfortable and enjoy the ride. Cost: $27 (Commonwealth Home Support Programme assessed and approved) or $35 (non-assessed). Please note: lunch is an additional cost.
