‘Love the One You’re With’ by Celia Moriarty – online exhibition

Vibrant and intimate, ‘Love the One You’re With’ by Celia Moriarty is a community exhibition featuring large-scale paintings transporting viewers into the lush landscapes of Boroondara.

Through detailed execution at a large scale, Moriarty pulls sharp focus on Australian native flora, often overshadowed by exotic species or underestimated in their significance to the local ecology. Moriarty celebrates Boroondara’s parks and trails by documenting local subjects and their locations, highlighting how we can connect to nature in our everyday lives.

‘Love the One You’re With’ honours the natural beauty of Boroondara, reminding viewers of the importance of valuing and preserving our native plants and landscapes. By connecting us to the land we live in, Moriarty encourages us to live in harmony with nature and recognise the value of the environment surrounding us.
