Event details
The event takes place in South Surrey Park where volunteers meet and weed to enable our planted indigenous plants to flourish.
Participants are welcome to join in the weeding work, a pleasant time with like-minded people, or join with a member of the group to learn about the transformation which has taken place in South Surrey Park over twenty-five years.
The weeding part of the event is on sloping, uneven ground. The walk will be on footpaths with some inclines, suitable for walking frames or wheelchairs.
Volunteers can buy refreshments from the Through Road shopping centre to drink in our picnic area under an old oak tree.
Meet at the Scout Hall, Bonner Street, Surrey Hills, 3127.
